Joining IPMS Austria

It was bound to happen... I became a member of a model-building club.
It happened through a colleague, who is, of course, also an avid model builder. We chatted about models at work, and I was invited to a club meeting, which is how my journey with the IPMS began.
The IPMS is the largest and most well-known model-building association in Austria, but also worldwide with its various "branches."
It was a great evening with many fantastic conversations, a beer or two, and a classic Wiener Schnitzel. So, what was there to argue against joining? No sooner said than done. That's how I became a member of our cool group, who welcomed me warmly. A funny little fact, I felt like I halved the average age.
So I got involved in the club, and then I even managed to convince a friend of mine, who occasionally builds something, to join... so we were already two younger members, which is naturally important for the club – because without members, no club or association survives.
It was a great decision, simply because we spend our club evenings among like-minded people and have a lot to share.
